Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday.
Write a letter to an English speaking friend. In your letter:
• thank them for the photos and for the holiday
• explain why you didn't write earlier
• invite them to come and stay with you
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ............,
Dear Adam and Sarah,
I hope this letter finds you both in the pink of health. I am delighted to see your letter and the photos of our holiday. Thanks for sharing the beautiful clicks with me, I am rejoicing all the moments spent with you guys again by looking at the photos. Thailand is such a wonderful country with breathtaking views and clear beaches. The holiday is over, but I will never forget the time we spent together. Thanks for such an amazing holiday.
I apologize for not writing to you guys earlier, as I was busy with my office chores. It was a long holiday, that means a lot of work was piled up for me with some urgent deadlines. I had to do overtime in order to get it done.
I’d like to invite you both to visit Pakistan. Summer is the perfect time to visit north Pakistan to see its lush greenery nature and breathtaking views. You can come to Karachi, and we all can go together to the north by car. It will be an adventurous trip where you will not only enjoy nature but also the humble nature of the people here.
I would love to see you both soon. Take care and write back.
Warm wishes,
Tom
