The table graphs compare the sale of fairtrade-labelled coffee and bananas in term of five different nations, namely the UK, Switzerland, Denmark. Belgium and Sweden, over a period of five years.

Overall, Fairtrade coffee in the UK and bananas in Switzerland had a sharp increase from 1999 to 2004, while Sweden and Denmark witnessed a slight decrease in its bananas fair price figure.

In sales of fairtrade-labelled coffee, the figure for coffee in the UK was respondibled for 20 million of euros in 2004 as nearly 20 times as it was in 1999. Meanwhile, Switzerland Fairtrade coffee represented 6 million of euros in 2004.Besides, Sweden reached the lowest coffee fair price in 5 countries with 0.8 million in 1999 and 1 million in 2004. As can be seen that, there was a very minimal climb in this nation during a period of five years.

In second table, Switzerland was the country which had the highest sales of bananas with 15 million of euros in 1999 and 47 million of euros in 2004. Likewise, the UK and Belgium experienced a gentle rise with around 5 million. In contrast, the figure for Fairtrade bananas in Sweden and Denmark fell gradually in sequence from 1.8 and 2 to 1 and 0.9 million of euros.
