Dear Mr Greg,
I am your new tenant Stanley staying in D/no 13, Linda Apartments. Recently, because of my new job in London, I moved to your accommodation after duly signing rent agreement. However, dilapidated condition of few furnitures prompted me to write this letter.
As you are aware, I am an accountant in Barclays bank and considered present opportunity as part of structural changes in company. As a result, I had to change my work location from New Delhi to London, after which I took your house for rent. Nevertheless, me and my family are facing troubles because of poor facilities in the flat which I intend to bring it your attention.
In our rental contract, clear conditions are stipulated for replacing old chairs and tables with new ones. Whereas, to our surprise, we found not even single new furniture. On the other hand, existing equipments and doors are infected with termites and rust. Clearly, this amounts to breach of our agreement and I request you to take immediate action to rectify the situation.
After explaining myself, it only sounds logical to ask you to comply the terms by replacing all existing furniture's. I recommend you to take a visit to the flat, accompanied by a carpenter, for estimating the total costs. Thus we can have clarity about action plan to be taken. Further, I know this is not part of contract, I request you to change windows curtain as they are also not in good condition.
Hope your positive response for my proposition and look forward to hear from you.
Yours sincerely,
Stanley.
