Dear John,
It’s been so long since we last were in touch, but I haven’t forgotten all the wonderful times we spent together last year. I have changed the date of my visit to Canada because of an important at home.
Regarding the event I mentioned earlier, it’s about the house warming of my only sibling. He finally won the money lottery after so many times of playing. Some of the proceeds were used to purchase this mansion. Given that I’m the only sibling he has, it’s expedient that I stay back and attend this impromptu event. It wouldn’t be if I don’t attend.
In addition to what I have said earlier, I’d like to apologize for any disappointment this have caused. Plans were made; I couldn’t make the trip because of the event at home. We would do everything we planned to do when I come visiting.
Lastly, I’d suggest that it’s preferable to visit during the summer or the Christmas period. Including other options wouldn’t be necessary, but we can always come up with a better plan that suits both parties.
All the best.
Adam.
