You have a full-time job and are also doing a part-time evening course. You now find that you cannot continue the course. Write a letter to the course tutor. In your letter

describe the situation

say what action you would like to take

Dear Mr. Smith,

I am writing to inform you that I will not be continuing with part-time Spanish classes.

I have been attending the classes for the last 4 months, and I enjoyed it immensely. As mentioned, at the time of signing up for the classes, I am employed full-time and was managing the office and class timing.

However, with the turn of events, I think I will not be able to attend any more for a few months. My company has entered into an agreement with a London based company for generic outsourcing work and which requires me to negotiate the deal and set things up for the company. This requires me to stay abroad for 3 months.

Further, I am aware that you run the classes twice a year. I would be happy to attend the classes with the next cohort in January if allowed.

I will be waiting for your reply.

Yours sincerely,

Brad Jason
