You live in a room in college which you share with another student. however, there are many problems with this agreement and you find it very difficult to study. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. I your letter:
1) describe the situation
2) explain your problem and why it is difficult to work.
3) say what kind of accommodation you would like to prefer.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to explain the inconvenience I am facing in my current accommodation and want you to move me into another room, probably a single room.
I am currently residing at room number A12, second floor of Westley hostel. It is a double sharing room with another student. Although room is pretty well with all the amenities available but I find it troublesome to study here. As I am pursuing masters in computers. So, I have to work on my assignments on daily basis which need continuous focus and concentration. But due to my roommate's inconsiderate behavior, It is too hard for me to study in my room. He usually have his friends visiting him until late in the evening and they have tendency to listen to loud music which hinder my study.
Moreover, my roommate has a tendency to use my personal belongings without my permission, which make me feel insecure in my own room. In addition to that, I found my wrist watch missing yesterday and I was not sure to whom I should blame.
I hope you will understand my concern for studies because of irrational behavior of my roommate and I shall be highly obliged to you If you would arrange a single room for me and let me allow to move there as soon as possible, probably this week as my exams are approaching.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Ell Green
