You recently bought a piece of equipment for your kitchen but it did not work. You phoned the shop but no action was taken.
Write a letter to the shop manager. In your letter
• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain what happened when you phoned the shop
• say what you would like the manager to do.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent purchase at your shop in South-Delhi.
I bought a vacuum cleaner of Phillips brand in 15th February 2018. However, the vacuum cleaner stopped working after 3 days of using it. On the first two days it made some loud noise and eventually stopped working on the next day, which is very disappointing experience with this product.
I made a telephonic call to your outlet, as I was informed at the time of purchase that any technical problems will be resolved in 48 hours. However, it has been 4 days since I have logged the complaint but no technician has come to my house to check the vacuum cleaner.
As per the terms and conditions mentioned on the invoice statement, I am entitled to return the product work full refund within 30 days of purchase. Hence, I would like you to resolve the issue at the earliest or initiate the return process. Do let me know where I have to submit the faulty product and when the refund will be processed.
I look forward to your response.
Your sincerely,
Ajay Kumar
