You recently started commuting to work by bicycle and discovered that there is a problem with bicycle parking near the building where you work. Write a letter to the building manager and say
– Explain the reason for using a bicycle to commute.
– What problems have you encountered with parking?
– What are your recommendations to solve them?
Hello Mr. Peter,
My name is Suresh, working as a senior software engineer at Wipro software solutions located on the third floor of the Imperial Buildings. I am writing this letter to bring to your notice about the parking problems in our office building.
I live in the downtown area and I am coming to the office daily by bicycle to avoid the traffic congestion. I am using the bicycle to reduce the pollution created by use of motor vehicles. Although the bicycle occupies less space, I am unable to find the parking place for it. As our building is crowded with software companies and also the parking is not organized, it is difficult to find the parking place for the bicycle. Due to this irregularity in the parking, I need to wait for over 2 hours to pick the cycle from the parking lot.
I would like to recommend to you, some alternatives to eradicate the parking issues in our building. First of all, organize the building parking area according to the space rented by the organizations. Secondly, encourage the use of eco-friendly vehicles, by providing the priority parking locations and finally, encourage the employees to commute to office daily using the public transport system.
I look forward to hearing back from you,
Yours faithfully,
Mr K Suresh
