You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter:explain why you want to work in the company’s head office for six months, say how your work could be done while you are away, ask for his/her help in arranging it
Dear Leena,
I have been a significant performer for last consecutive four years. I am inclined to learn more about the strategies that are used in our marketing department. To achieve this I would like to request you to allow me to be sponsored to work in our head office for at least 6 months. Hence, I am writing this letter for your permission. I would like to work in the Marketing O level team that is in our main office in New Jersey. I have been very keen on developing my skills to enable our team overcome all the issues we have faced in last few months during the decline of the orders from Asian countries. I have learned that in our head quarter we have experienced experts who have profound erudition on how to overcome such situations.
Even when I am away I will ensure that all the work in my department is completed on time. I will monitor all the work through our online system and make sure that nothing is hampered due to my absence. Furthermore, I have been training few of the new employees who are well-trained now, and ready to handle all the work. It's a humble request to please help arrange my visa and stay in the new location. Finally, please also arrange my transfer documents by discussing the same with the HR Manager.
Thanking you
Poonam
