Your parents will be celebrating their 40th anniversary next month. You are planning a big celebration, but you are not sure how to make the occasion really memorable.
Write to a friend, who is a professional event planner. In your letter:
explain why the occasion is special
ask for her assistance
set up a time to meet at your friend's convenience to discuss your plans
Dear Martha,
It is my pleasure to announce that we are celebrating 40th anniversary of my parents on 21st January 2020. We are planning to throw a grand party in their honour. However, we are clueless how to manage it and therefore, we need your help to turn the occasion into grand success.
Since they have completed 40 years together and still love each other as a recently married couple, all our family members have decided to appreciate their feelings. It is very important day of their life hence we have agreed upon that rather than arranging a normal get together that we usually do, this time around we would celebrate it in a different style.
As we know you are and expert in organising such events, we need your guidance and support in fulfilling our desire. Though we have agreed upon the activities we wish to include, we request you to guide and assist us in completing the event.
We understand that it would be difficult for you to take time out of your busy schedule at such a short notice. However, we would be grateful to you if you can do so.we can arrange a meeting at Rosy’s house to discuss our plan of action as per her and your convenience. As we know we are running out of time we wish to start it as early as possible.
Waiting to hear from you soon.
Love & regards,
Kutub
