In human life, taking risks is inevitable because it is believed to be a barrier that needs to be overcome in order to achieve desired outcomes. Hence, it is crucial for people to gamble not only in their professional aspects but also in their private lives. In my opinion, everything has its own pros and cons, and taking risks is no exception.
On the one hand, being willing to take risks will pave the way for many opportunities that can unleash an individual’s whole potential or change their lives positively. For instance, an excellent accountant will never get a higher position in the organization if he is afraid to gamble for the better. In addition, if he has the gut to take risks, a new horizon will be widely opened in terms of higher position chances. This is also appropriate for an individual’s personal life, a person won’t know how lucky he is when playing a lottery. Hence, he could become a wealthy person immediately or stay in poverty.
On the other hand, there are some drawbacks when taking risks the wrong way. To make it more clear, taking risks could bring people 50 percent of success and failure, if fortune is not likely to happen, they are going to endure consequences that cannot be resolved easily. For example, job hopping is good for employees who are eagle to earn professional experience or a better-paid job, however, if the new organization they are going to work in is not as good as the previous one, they will regret it for the rest of their lives. In terms of personal lives, marriage is a huge gamble that everyone has to undergo in their lifetimes, many people admit that they feel a sense of remorse after having married a partner because they have to sacrifice many things such as their salaries, taking care of children or even losing chances for a greater job.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that being willing to take risks could strengthen a person's experiences and create precious opportunities in many contexts of life. However, it also means he will need to pay a price that may be unpleasant or sometimes regretful.
