According to my own experience, I believe that a job that doesn't requires travel is better.
When you get a job that require travelling to other places usually you are moving from side to side thus, means more stress, taking flights, buying plane tickets, arriving at the airport on time, making hotel reservations and other things add difficulties or factors that could decrease my job performance.
on the other hand you can not be with your family sometimes because you have to travel. you can miss important dates, birthdays, weddings, births, etc.
For all these reasons, I prefer a job where not have to travel often.
