The reading and the lecture are both about the Torreya taxifoha, which are types of tree that facing the possibility of extinction. The author of the reading provides three solutions to solve this problem, but the lecturer casts doubt on each one of them.
First, the article argues that one possible solution is to reestablish the tree in micro climate, which a climate that is different form the climate around it. The professor, on the other hand, refutes this suggestion. He explains that this area has witnessed a change in the climate and it became drier maybe due the global warming. Hence, the conditions for the flourishing of this tree do not exist in that area and the whole process would be susceptible to failure.
Second, the text says that another possible solution is to relocate the tree in completely new area with colder weather which suitable for the growth of the plant. The speaker, in contrast, rebuts this claim by providing an example of similar case about another plant. She elaborates by stating that in other cases when some plants have been moved form its original habitat, it dominated the whole new area. The other types of plants became fewer or even extinct.
Third, the author of the reading proposes another solution which is to grow the tree in the research labs where it can be protected and put under more investigation. The lecturer, however, goes against this idea by saying that it is not practical. He added that that tree needs to grow in large size and be genetically diverse to be able to flourish normally. That condition is nearly impossible inside the research labs. Besides, its ability to resist diseases will decline to a great extent. Hence, this solution is not feasible.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
