TPO 32
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Young people today have no influence on the important decisions that determine the future of society as a whole. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

In my opinion, adolescents have minor effect on the significant decisions. I feel this way for several main reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.

To begin with, juveniles are less respected and considered as have no experience and knowledge to decide the marginal matters. Therefore, elders tend to disregard opinion of young generation because of the attitude that young people have no ability to reasonable conclusion. This is the reason why they are unable to involve in chief processes regardless of if they want or available to make acceptable judgement. For instance, in my country, many young correspondents write a letter to the president about major problems related to the nation. I have read many letters which is so reasonable that the idea can solve important problems in the country. Unfortunately, I am sure that the president has never seen some of them because the letters are considered as useless.

Secondly, there are few juveniles who can make justifiable choice and willing to do it since attitude of young generation is to develop themselves or expend time for recreations. Moreover, even young people will discourage their peers if their peers try to influence the major decisions because they consider that they must study and explore new things so that they will be capable of making the decision. Therefore, they are reluctant to involve in main decisions, which restricts them to affect the major choices. For instance, my friend, who wants to develop the nation as whole, started non-profit company whose purpose is to help impoverished individuals with the budget which they received from the charity. Unfortunately, her company was lacking in budget and she lost her commitment because she thought that she has not enough savvy and was being reprimanded by other people including people of the same age. Afterwards, she ended up making conclusion that she is not capable of influencing the society until she gets superb education and practical knowledge. Thereby, she lost her commitment and only willing to consume time for herself.

I am of the opinion that there is no effect made by adolescents in the chief decisions. This is because only few of the young generation are willing to change the situation of inferior society and elders tend to consider them as not prepared and unable to make reasonable conclusion.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
