The reading illustrates claims that the study of the ancient cultural artifacts was limited. The professor contradicts these theories by theses strong evidence.
Firstly, in the reading, it is said that because of the destruction of the building, especially from the 1950s to construct the new building without considering the archaeologically valuable sites. On the contrary, the lecture refutes the argument by stating that the recent evidence showed that if the construction was archaeologically precious, they consider it to a preseved structure.
Secondly, even though the reading claims that the fund has been considered by the government for the archaeology is not adequate, the professor argues in the lecturer that recently some financial credited have been considered for this purpose. Moreover, these resources make the archaeologists have a good oppourtunity to doing their research with more facilities.
Thirdly, the passage says that hiring a career for an archaeology project present an important challenge due to this fact that there are not many jobs in theses field for the all the time. However, the professor mentions the new condition is really beteer than the past. There are many well-paid jobs with different stages of the recruitment.
