First of all, the reading asserts that if doctors utilize adapted systems to stock and keep patients’ records, it will less expensive and makes more opportunities to save money rather than old methods which use paper records. On the contrary, the speaker states that this way is not like significant issues to save money, due to doctors need old records of patients’ record emergency for legal reasons of signatures on the papers and also this is not costly store and keep them in electronic records.
Secondary, the passage claims that there are some errors related to poor handwritings which electronic medical records will reduce them. However, the professor refutes this idea and he believes that by this way can not decrease the mistakes of writings on the papers, due to via development systems, now there are some doctors who use pen and paper for their not takings.
Finally, the author posits that by storing data and information on the systems, researchers can use them for more explorations and this available data can be more useful and helpful in future. While the professor argues that this data are not fundamentally and access to this enormous data is difficult.
