Many students have to live with roommates while going to school or university. What are some of the important qualities of a good roommate? Use specific reasons and examples to explain why these qualities are important.

Moving out of parents house is an important mark in young adults and teenagers lives. It will give them the first experience of independence, sustainability and responsibility. When moving out frequently students face the situation where they can only afford to rent rooms and sometimes they have company in the house. In my opinion, a good roommate is the one that has more or less the same age. If this is true, they can conjugate interests and make company for each other, being friends. Another important aspect is the tidiness, no one wants to be around of a person that is all messy and unorganized. It will only create conflict, if this is true. A good roommate should also be friendly, which is obvious, many people don´t like to socialize or be around other people, they usually don´t communicate much and are disgusted about it. Another quality that I find in good roommates is their tolerance and comprehension. Nobody is perfect, and if one will react to anything this will only cause problems that could be avoided with a litle bit tolerance. This isn´t saying that one should tolerate everything, is just saying that a litle bit of tolerance is a good thing. In conclusion, a good roommate should be friendly tidy and have tolerance in order to make a peaceful stay.
