organic food vs non-organic food

Essay topics:

organic food vs non-organic food

The reading argues against organic food, while the professor supports it.
First of all, the reading argues that organic is too expensive, for example buying strawberry. However, the lecture refutes the reading by saying that organic foods are expensive because they are safer. Furthermore, the lecture states that organic strawberries are expensive but healthy because farmers do not use any pesticides and fungicides, causes breast cancer in females and reduce the sperm count to half in males.
In addition, the passage posits that organics are hard to get, example rice. The lecture rebuts the reading by saying that it is simply not true. She said that local grocery can find organic foods and big stores have a separate section for organics. On top of that, WalMart produces a wide variety of organic foods like cheese, milk, and rice.
Lastly, the reading passage claims that there is no taste difference between organic and non-organic food’s example milk. The lecture refutes this by pointing out that of course there is no taste difference because the whole purpose of organic foods is to produce chemical-free food’s. Moreover, the professor saying that farmers use RGBH growth hormone to produce more milk but when it enters into the body it causes prostate and breast cancer. On the other hand, organic milk is free of man-maid chemicals. So it is ok to pay little extra money for health.
