In an overview, the lecture describes the psychologist's duty and relationship between human mind and social behaviour. Admittedly, the points in the lecture cast doubt on the points in the reading.

First, the lecture states that psychology is a social science and studies overall processes mental activity and how this process influence human behaviour and society. However, in the reading mention psychology is a natural science that related to the sensory aspects of human behavior.

Furthermore, the lecture mentions that psychology is based on the subjective interpretation of phenomena and on knowledge of description. Also structure experiments to gain data and examine dates for find out pattern of behaviours. Thus, this opposes with the clues of the reading that illustrate psychology is base on the objectively verified facts and application of scientific method.

Finally, lecture explains subfields of psychology study is the interaction of mental processes and social behaviour. Also, all common threat in all these subfields is the integration of these subfields. But, this contrasts with the subject in the reading of psychology study the biological bases of behavior and mental states.
