In addition the writer, companies profit increase thanks to new shorter working hour. Because workers tend to reduce their faults about job. Company may increase employee and plant cost. But lecturer add some disadvantages of this belief. Company probably spend more money to new trainee program in order to educate additional worker. It needs more office products for more employees. So company costs may increase via this optional working hours.
On the other hand, unemployment rates can reduce due to shortened working hours. İt creates new job opportunity for workers. Lecturer adds it can reduces unemployment rates, but also creates additional jobs. But companies want more and more from the workers. They should do effectively all things. They must do work in four days but it will be same five days work.
Finally, people have advantage about family and free time. They have more time doing hobbies or spend time families. But it has some disadvantages. Employees ability decrease with shorter week. They can not focus job well. Possible economical crisis, they may lose jobs. Moreover, firms need supervisor in the future which includes five days work in a week. It may obligation.
