The writer notes that individuals work hard to satisfy the demand for paper, furniture, and other resources. In contrast, the audio describes how individuals do not earn much and are risking their lives to carry out dangerous jobs, which gives greater good to the authorities.
To sum up, although both sources discuss the same topic, deforestation, it is evident that they conclude with different views and details. With this in mind, it will be difficult for both to find common ground on the matter, and the flaws pointed out by the professor effectively challenge the author that they thought too narrow-mindedly about the issue.
