The article states that the presence of the human on Mars is imoissuble and provides three reasons to support it. However, the professor explains that it is true that the maintainance of human on Mars would be challenging but it is possible. He states that if they establish a station which would be flooding about fifty kilometer above the surface of Mars they can maintan there. The professor opposes each of the reasons that is presented by the author.
First, the reading claims that the atmospheric pressure at Venus's surface is at least ninty times greater of the Earth's surface pressure. The professor refutes this point by explaining that by establishing the station in the height of fifty kilometer, the present pressure in the station would be equal to the Earth's surface pressure.
Second, the article declares that there is no reservoirs of water on Venus and the water and oxygen have to be supplied to Venus. Nevertheless, the professor contends that carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid exist on the atmosphere of Venus which can be used to produce oxygen and water. According to the professor, people can use chemical materical to obtain water and oxygen from the planet's atmosphere. Therefore, it is not necessary to supply them from Earth.
Third, the author avers that because most of the sunlight that hits Venus is reflected into the space and also thick dense layer of carbon dioxide exist on the planet, a little sunlight reaches to the surface of this planet. The professor opposes this point by saying that as the station would be above this clouds, the station can use the sunlight which would reach to that directly from above the station and also it can use the reflected light from below it.
