The reading passage claims that hardly scientist can study bones and its tissues through animal's fossils owing to the fact that they have become replaced by mineral. In order to do so, scientists decide to investigate Dinosaur's bones, which might reveal remains of blood vessels, red blood cell, collagen and other informative materials inside the bones. However, the lecturer finds all the ideas dubious and presents some evidence to refute them all.
First, the author contends that breaking fossilized bone represent some channels with hollows, which contain blood vessels with soft, flexible substances inside the channels. On the contrary, the lecturer brings up the idea that the soft and flexible tissue inside the bone might be something else, not substances that revealed soft tissues. In fact, after an organism is died bacteria colonized hollow and when living inside the bone, they lived behind traces.
Furthermore, the author holds the idea that availability of spheres represent remain of the red blood vessel have been investigated through microscopic analyzing. Conversely, the professor underlines the fact that identical spheres of other animals have been found on other sites and places. So, they have probably different origins, which show pieces of reddish mineral cells.
Finally, as set forth by the author, scientist have found through a test that bones contain collagen. In contrast, the speaker dismisses this issue due to the fact that no one could found the remains of collagen in recent years owing to the fact that they are older than 100,000 years, which cannot last for many years. Indeed, collagen does not come from T. rex and also human skin contains collagen as well. So, it is not probable to think of collagen as a component of bones tissues.
