TPO32

In this set of material, the passage discusses three main hypothesises to support some reasons to indicate what was the sourece of the odd sounds which sailors of Russian submarines heared in North Atlantic and Arctic Ocean, while the speaker casts doubt on the information preesented in the reading section and believs that these theories are not convincing enough.

First of all, the reading section makes point that orca population generated those sounds to attract the other ones which were in the depth of ocean. In contrast, the conductor asserts that since orac population live in the near surface of ocean; if the male on the surface wanted to make that noise, that noise would not reach to the ones in the deep of ocean.

Second, the proferssor disagrees with the idea that source of this noise was the giant squids and implies that if the squids made that noise, why suddenly did the noise disapear, whereas the squids have lived in the ocean? In fact, she believs that there is not any linke between that noise an the squids.

Finally, although the passage posits that another country might test some modern fasilities and that brough about that noise, the lecture claims that there is not any modern technology which be able to change its direction quickly. She elaborated by saying that if it was the noise of engine, that would not be able to disapear fast as it did. So, she cites the imformation to contrast the truth of that claim.
