In this set of material, the reading states that unlike Mars and Moon, the condition of life is inhospitable for humans on Venus and then it brings up three reasons to support its argument, however the professor finds all reasons vaporous and provides some evidence to advocate this idea that life in the Venus can be possible. In fact the information the professor provides contradicts the outlined in the reading passage.
First of all, the reading passage claims that atmospheric pressure at Venus' surface is very high and it can crush not only spacecrafts, but also humans after landing on it, In fact its pressure is 90 times greater than the pressure at Earths' surface, however the lecture argues that the pressure at the above of surface near clouds is lower approximately equal with the pressure at the Earth, consequently scientists can create a station in height of above of Venus instead of Venus' surface.
Second, the author of reading contends that Venus does not have water, so as we all know water is the first and most important factor for establishing life in everywhere, subsequently humans have to portage water from Earth and it can be very expensive, in contrast the professor declares that Venus has made of carbon dioxide and other gases and chemical materials, so scientists will be able to obtain water through these components.
Third, the reading passage proposes that Venus receive a little sunlight, because the thick clouds of Venus block these sun lights from reaching the Venus' surface and a big part of sunlight reflects to space, however the professor believes that Venus' clouds are not very thick and on the other hand, The created station can collect sun lights and send them to below of clouds, in fact it will be able to produce electricity.
