In the reading, the author claims that it is possible for human that inhabitant on moon or mars permanently but owing to harsh and inhospitable condition of venues, it is unlikely for human to maintain. however, finding all ideas questionable the lecturer has different view point about pint of view and presents some evidence to the contrary.
Firstly, the passage claims that atmosphere pressure of venues is much higher than earth. it argues that, as a result roughly all materials might be landed on venues would be damaged.0conversly, the lecturer states that pressure on 50 kilometers above venues surface is same as earth pressure and space station can place safely.
Secondly, the passage asserts that no water reservoirs are available on venues planet and the atmosphere hardly contain oxygen instead have carbon dioxide. this contradict the lecturer which states it could be possible that use carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid through a chemical process and generate water for station.
Lastly, the passage argues that very little sun ray’s reach the venues surface because of thick clouds which reflecting the sun ray and carbon dioxide layers and which reflecting the sun ray. Therefore, solar panels cannot generate power for station equipment. however, the lecture states that it is not big issue. this is supported by the assertion that 50 kilometers above the venues clouds are not that much dense thus solar cell can generate power for station also reflected sun ray by clouds can be used for that.
