Although there are few advantages for working slowly, such as having a gauranteed outcome for the job which is very crucial in some careers, the merits of working fast overweight those of slow working.

Promotions will go to the persons who make risks to demonstrate significant performance. In order to get promoted one needs to be outstanding.
