Some people believe that the high school should teach music and art asother basic science. Some people think that providing music and arteducation for high school students is not necessary. What is your opinionand why?

Art and music are the key to student development. I believe that high school should teach music and art as other basic science. I support this statement for various reasons. Many researchers have found that studying art and music along with other curriculum in schools had resulted in decrease drop-outs and made the student's to improve their skills not only in maths and reading, but researchers states that it also promotes creativity, social development, personality adjustment and self -worth. By studying art and music it gives a sense of relief for the students from the hectic curriculum and thus enhance over all cognitive development of the students. By these reasons I think that art and music education should be made mandatory for all high school students.
