The professor argue 3 points which are in contrast to what the passage presented. The professor talked about inside status of the building which are not proper for staying or living for large number of people, second he pointed out to having no tracing of grain maize on the floor or somewhere else, and at last he talked about other accumulation of materials there beside the pile of pots.
First, he pointed out that the inside the building, there were not enough fire places for the number of families which is mentioned in the passage. He said we've got around 10 or less than it, fire places. Even about the room he added, there were not enough rooms for families ti live there so this assumption for these buildings should be thrown away.
Second, there is no sign of grain maize on the floor. Even if we suppose that these buildings, had been using for such a purpose, we had to find some big containers which were going to be used for storing grain maize.
At last, the professor added that, in addition to accumulation of pots there, we have other pilings of building constructions material and other ones, which would lead to this assumption that they had used this places for trashes.
