Overall, it is reported that approximately 40 percent to 53 percent of them in all ages exercised frequently in 2010. Men did a less regularly physical activity than women except for age group of 15 to 24. Australian aged more than 64 had the exercise rate equally in both sexes while age group of 35 to 44 shows the highest gap between them.
As women getting older they tended to exercise more. From age 15 to 34, their exercise rate was about 48 - 49 percentage and the figures increased to about 53 percent in age 35 to age 64. For women who aged 65 and over had exercise rate of 47 percent which is equal to men in this age group.
Male Australians did the most exercise in age between 15 - 24 by 53 percent and the figure dropped as they got older, reported about 40 percent in their age of 35 to 44. The figure slightly increased to be same as women as mentioned in the age of 65 and over.
