Write a letter to your manager about a computer system problem that you have encountered and say-
Describe the problem
How it is affecting your work
What needs to be done about it
Dear Mr. Fred,
I am writing to bring to your attention a computer system problem at one of company gadgets where located in Project department.
We have a strong fire-wall on all company`s computers which is published by Microsoft, but that device got affected by a recent virus from the internet. The device was brand new and had all security updates; however, it did not sustain to face the new virus. When we try to start it up, it does not open and fails to load all data.
All work data were saved into this computer, and no copies were kept on other devices, including the agreed price list of our new equipment. Therefore, if we have been requested for any further quotation by clients, we won’t be able to arrange it in the due time. This will affect our work very badly.
We took comprehensive warranty bond with the manufacturer, and the contract states that all faulty devices are covered. I would therefore that you address this matter urgently with the manufacturer, and that you treat it in priority with the after-sales service department to repair the device at soon as possible.
I look forward to the problem being resolved.
Yours sincerely,
Ayoub
