Laws are the some rules to rule the society in a smooth manner, Laws were made to punish the culprits and present the strong example in front of the society.
But now a days, many unpleasant activities taking place in modern society like vandalism, sexual harassment, plundering and many other. Now the question arises that if we have strong laws and legal system to protect our society from these unpleasant incidents, then why and how are these crimes rapidly increasing? Are not our laws such strong to protect our society or there is something else which playing a role of catalyst for these malicious incidents?
In present era, where everyone is facing tough competition to remain in race, it is tough to teach their children about moral values. in modern time we want to teach our children science, maths, and other subjects so that, in future they will not face any difficulties related to their professions. But we always forget to teach about the morality. so it is very difficult to choose a right path for them. the scarcity of ethics creates new and terrible problems to the society. what we can expect to a person who can not distinguish between fun and crime, like rape cases are increasing ay by day, this situation indicates that the perpetrator can not judge that what is right, his thinking is totally different, he is doing this heinous crime for his satisfaction. for his guilt, according to laws, we can punish him but cannot change his mindset. so in these cases rules and laws cannot prevent these crimes. it is the mindset of the society which cannot be controlled by such rules and regulations.
So according to me, the modern society cannot solved its problems, because the main problem is the behavior of the socialites.
