Human beings are very social creatures. To live in a community, they must be accepted in it. To be accepted in a community they must be like them, even though it changes their true identity. That is why we are known to copy one another from something as small as a pen to something as huge as a car.
If we truly come to think of it, most of the things we buy are a result of us copying from something, most likely commercials. You see, commercials are all over the television and as most of us watch it we end up wanting it, purely because we want to copy the person in the commercial. Suppose one sees 'Marvel's Avengers: Infinity Wars' and they come across something that looks exactly like the infinity stones (in the movie), in most cases, they would 'want' to buy it. Let me give you another example, your entire class is using this particular pen brand but you. To feel equal to them, it is only normal that you get a same pen yourself.
The above mentioned examples are just the size of a nail tip when it comes to the extent to where we go to copy one another. I find this natural and I also think that everyone does it one way or the other. But that does not mean one should begin to lose their identity because of their nature. Above all, it is important to be you for who knows, there could be people in this world who have copied or at least want to copy something from you.
