The line graph illustrates, the monthly spend on three main sports such as, football, athletics, and swimming in UK between the year of 2008 to 2014. Units are measured in million.
Overall, the most significant sports category for sports expense was football. Nevertheless, the significant changes occurred in athletics over the period given. Swimming remained almost steadily in between the year.
With regards to the amount of money spend for football, it began at around 8million then it declined to just under 8 million in 2010. While the expense again has slight increase with approximately 9% by 2014. In general, football expenditure take place mere one million over the given period.
On the other hand, athletics starts with one million in 2004. Whereas, after 2010 there were a dramatic rise in expenditure which is overcome swimming in the year of 2011. The national expenditure of atheletics remained steadily after 2012 with five million. Moreover, spendings for swimming has systematic surge from two million to approximate 4 million in the end of the graph period.
