Looking into the data in more detail, the sales volume of handheld in 2000 was almost $12 billion. Fortunately, its amount continuously rose in the upcoming years and finally reached the peak to just $18 billion in 2006. In contrast, the console games saw to be dropping from 2000, of nearly $6 billion into around $3 billion in the year 2006.
In looking to mobile and online games, both of the sales steadily rose during the years. It was likely to be almost the same amount in both 2002 and 2004, which valued for only $1 billion and $4 billion respectively. Finally, the least sales seem to be mobile phone games, which got just more than $7 million in 2006.
