The figure gradually rise until it reached a peak from 1984 to 1999 , with approximately 52 millions of residents. On the other hand, the number of tourists who came to visited the United Kingdom was started at 10 millions. Furthermore, five years later, the chart climb significantly, while the last 15 years, it was increase moderately.

The most popular country that the UK's residents went overseas in 1999 was France, with above 10 millions. Other than that, Spain was also the second well-known country that was visited by them. There was a slight difference on the number of UK visitors by around 2 millions. Meanwhile, Turkey, Greece, and USA were the least popular countries among the other.
