The graphs below give information about obesity in five Countries and food energy intake and expenditure in the United Kingdom and Japan over several decades

The vertical graph depicts the overweight in distinct five nations (mexico, U.K, Germany, Italy and Japan). And line graph revrals the figure of food energy intake and expenditure in the U.K. and Japan over a period of 40 years.

It can be clearly seen that, mexico had maximum number of victims of overweight comparison to other distinct nations.In addition to it, mexico had maximum proportion of obese with 70 percent followed by U.K. and Germany with about 60 and 50 percent of overweight population. Moreover, Italy and Japan were accounted for 45 and 25 percent of victims of overweight.

The line graph illustrates that, from 1969 to 1989,the figure of food energy intake in United Kingdom and Japan similarly upsurged from 8000 kilojoules per day to about 9000 kilojoules per day respectively. Furthermore, from 1989 to 2009, the figure of energy intake in Japan followed an decreasing trend, falling from 9000 to 8000 kilojoules per day, whereas, food intake in U. K. made a remarkable improvement, rising from 9000 to about 11000 kilojoules per day. Next, from 1969 to 1989,the figure of expenditure in Japan increased slightly on the other hand, expenditure in U.K. decreased constantly.

It is, therefore, clear that, in vertical graph the proportion of overweight victims minimum in Japan and in line graph, food energy intake in U.K. seen at top of the table.
