IELTS 10 Test 3 Writing Task 1 - Academic

The provided bar charts illustrate information about what English people did after they had finished graduate and undergraduate courses excluding permanent works shown in 2008. Overall, The most popular activity done by both sample groups was to study a higher degree, while there were the fewest students attending voluntary works after they graduated from college.

According to the first chart, around 30000 English graduate students decided to continue studying, whereas 17735 and 16235 graduates were part-time workers and unemployed respectively. Interestingly, there were only 3500 students preferred doing voluntary work after leaving college.

For undergraduates, most of them did a further study (2725 people), which slightly lower than the number of graduate students who did a temporary job with about 2500 people. The number of unemployed people among undergraduates was exactly 1625, while there were 345 people attending to be a volunteer. There was an interesting fact that the number of graduate students who did voluntary work, further study and had no job was approximately 10 times higher than that of undergraduates.
