You just returned from your travel. Your friend had lent you a tour guidebook. Write a letter and say
- Why was it helpful for you?
- tell them about your travel
- When will you return this book?
Dear Raveena,
I am writing to thank you for lending me your ‘Lonely Planet’ Travel guidebook to Pondicherry. Pondicherry is a French town and I did manage to visit every single tourist spot. I had a memorable trip!
The travel guide was absolutely useful. From booking a comfortable stay at a boutique hotel to exploring the french riviera, it was worth the time and effort. The maps in the tour book were accurate and made it convenient to reach the most remote destinations. I had the opportunity to visit some of the exquisite restaurants and bars.
Furthermore, I spent time taking meditation classes, which was one of the top recommendations in one of the articles in the book. The spa experience was incredibly delightful and luxurious.
I will be visiting your home next week to share photos and return your book. I have also bought you a small souvenir from my trip. I am sure you will love it.
This much-needed vacation would’ve been impossible if you hadn’t encouraged me to take it. Thanks once again. Give my regards to everyone at home. See you soon.
Warm wishes,
Kathleen
