The former chart illustrates the amount of money spent on fast foods in Britain and the line graph depicts the use of fast foods between 1970 and 1990.
According to the line graph , the consumption of fish and chips started from 300 grammes in 1970.This trend started falling in 1972 till it reached to 200 grammes in year 1984. The utilization of hamburgers and pizza was below 100 grammes in 1970. Both of them had a constant usage till 1975. After this year,the ingestion of hamburgers rosed dramatically while pizza use increased gradually.
It is relevant from the bar graph that in high income families ,the most preference is given to hamburgers and the expenditure on this product is around 40 pence while pizza remains the second choice with the spending of nearly 20 pence per week. In average salary groups , the most superior choice is hamburgers whereas least preference is given to pizza and expenditure on these items are around 35 and 10 pence respectively. In low pay families ,the most preferable meal is fish and chips while pizza remains the last wish with the spending of 9 pence per week.
Overall, hamburgers was the prime consumed product and it gained popularity in within few years.
