“ Prevention is better than cure.”
Out of a country’s health budget, a large proportion should be diverted from treatment to spending on health education and preventative measures.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
To start with, health is a valuable gift for human being. Some people think that prevention is better than cure. Additional to, government must divide a large proportion of budget to health education and preventative measures. I strongly agree with above mentioned statement.
Firstly, keeping health is not very easy. Most important thing is protection from diseases for taking care of health. It is simple way to care hygienic condition or cleanliness for keeping health and washes hands before having meal, brushes teeth before going to bed and so on. Furthermore, it helps people to preserve their money. Moreover, somebody does not use up a lot of money for keeping purity. On the other hand, if someone gets sick, he or she will spend enough money for recovering and this person will not be sure to get well after treatment. Obviously , the mentioned reason indicates that prevention is really better than medicine.
Unfortunately, today, most of people are not aware how they protect themselves from diseases. For this, governments should open various courses for giving information to people about health. Additional to, people are provided with healthy diet and regular exercises by some programmes on TV and they should be known about the benefits of weekly or monthly check-up. By this way, somebody may be to avoid some bad habits such as smoking, drinking, over-eating etc. Apparently, governments should take care of their people.
To sum up, it is clear that protection is much better than treatment and people should be taught how they keep health by government.
