TPO 40 Integrated Writing Task

The reading and lecture both discuss the possibility of life on Venus' surface. While the reading provides three reasons to explain that is impossible to live on venus' surface, the professor refutes saying that none of these claims are convincing.

Firstly, the reading avers that the pressure on venus' surface is so high and that will crush anything. However, the professor rejects this notion by saying that the station will float at fifteen cloimeter above the surface. Also, the station is in high location can solve this problem. This is because the pressure is getting lower in high level. In addition, the venus's pressure is equal to the earth pressure. So, nothing will be crushed on venus' surface.

In addition, the reading states that it is very hard to find water or oxygen on venus' surface. Moreover, it is impractical to import them from earth. On the other hand, the professor questions this point by explaining that venus contains carbon dioxide and sulforic acid. So, we can produce water and oxygen from chemical reaction. As a result, there is no need to import them from the earth planet.

Lastly, the article mentions that the thick clouds block the sunlight to get into venus. So, human cannot get any solar system to produce energy. Nevertheless, the professor argues this idea by pointing out that these clouds that located at high level are not thick enough to block the sunlight. So, these will allow the sunlight to go throw. In addition, clouds reflect the sunlight. Furthermore, people can use this reflection to produce electricity. Consequently, people can produce energy from these power stations.
