the graph describes the number of people using the Internet from 1998 to 2004
A flick through the users connecting to the Internet percentage reflects the discrepancy among four types of locations between 1998 and 2004.
As can be clearly seen, the percentage of people using the Internet at home and in the library remained relatively constant, while the figure for access to work and college decreased.
More specifically, in 1998 the proportion of users accessing the Internet from home was the highest at around 54 per cent. By contrast, the rate for those who used it in the library was the lowest point of exactly ten per cent. Approximately 30 per cent of people connected to the Internet at work compared to precisely 20 per cent at college.
The percentage of Internet users gaining access from their houses rose slightly by approximately one per cent in 2004, after a gradual decline of about just above five per cent in 2000.on the other hand, the figure for access to work and college decreased minimally to ten per cent and roughly 20 per cent respectively. People accessing the Internet at the library increased five per cent from 1998 to 2000 and then dipped marginally by two per cent where it remained throughout 2004.
