My interpretation of the given text is that companies use a new tactic called "buzzing" instead of commercial advertisement. In this tactic companies hire someone to advertise their product to people they know or met. The author claims that this approach might have destructive effect on people and society. The audio material explains that the buzzing is kind of good tactic and refutes every single author's reasons.
First the reading states that the people can't distinguish between if the buzzers tell the truth or they promote the products for money. However the professor refutes this point by saying that the buzzers tell the truth, because the companies hires the buzzers which think that particular product is really good.
Second the reading posits that the consumers believe everything that buzzers tell them and it may harm the consumers. The professor says that people may not believe everything that buzzers promote them. He provides an example of his own experience as buzzer which in that time the people ask him a lot about the product in different aspects like quality, how long he is using the product and etc.
Third the given text claims that buzzing has harmful effect the relationships in society because people would not trust each other when they face buzzers lies. The professor opposes this point by explaining that if people are not trusting buzzers the companies wouldn't like to hire them. We also learn that as long as the buzzers tells the truth and consumers are pleased with that product they can even be more trustful to each other.
