Some people say that money should be spent for space exploration. Do you aagree or disagree?

It is true that government should focus on poverty, health care, and education the most. While I accept this view, I believe that government should allocate its budget for space exploration.

There are several resons why people disgree with the using of money for space exploration. Firstly, they pay tax for covering their needs in one country. For intance, they pay tax to get good mass transportation, good public health service, and good education. Secondly, not all people understand about space, so they do not pay attention more to space discovery. They believe that it is just beneficial for studying in Astronomy Class, not in the real life. Moreover, the historical view about space exploration relates to political activity rather than science.

However, the advantages of space exploration are spread out among people. Regardless of the high cost that is used in it, space exploration project gives economical benefit for its country. Voyager 1, for example, gives 14 times profit to United States every $1 spent on it as the result of inspiration, engineering, and achievement. Moreover, space exploration helps people to understand more about life. It is surprising to know the possibility of other habitants in the universe that human, maybe, do not live alone. This scientific benefit comes from the understanding of particular evidence that relates to the Earth and space. In the moon of Jupiter, for example, scientists figured out the ice fountains, and it becomes strong evidence of possibility for living because liquid always relates to life. Therefor, spending money on exploration is not a minor activity.

In conclusion, there are convincing arguments both for and against the use of money on space exploration. I believe to know the unknown is marvelous even it costs a lot.
