Some people consider computers to be more of a hindrance than a help. Others believe that they have greatly increased human potential. How could computers be considered a hindrance or a potential for the human?
Computers are now essential in many areas of life. However, everything always has two sides. There are many sources claim that despite little helpful function, machines are a disadvantage for us in this modern life. The remain of society said that people need to have these new high-tech media cause they can save the most valuable resource-space in life.
Especially, there are the excellent tool for a student to do their work easily by themselves. They can search for anything they want to know or learn something new to raise their knowledge. Besides, the computer helps us to time-consuming. For example, in the past, we can not do anything at the same time and make it in profitability. But today, when we have this tool, we can handle any problems as fast as we want. Notably, this benefit tool can save documents for us rather than our bad memories.
On the other hand, the information that the computer can show has to be pre-programmed and needs constant updating, so they can not solve any problem without the hands of people. This tool has done everything that can exactly realise and can force the things which are not valid. It’s difficult for people to work with computers. We need to install all of the programs, and if we have a little mistake, it can have significant damage that cannot fix anymore. Secondly, most of children today are addicted with computer and this is being the warning status of worse behaviour than before. They do not want to spend their time to do their work or go outside and do any activities like before. Consequently, the obesity is becoming increasingly common diseases of teenagers. Lastly, computers are so dominant in this century. People prefer to use this machine to the labour forces. When it happened, the unemployment rate is sharply increased and make the income of the whole family members dropped down.
In conclusion, computers are being able to be dangerous or advantages depend on the purpose we use for. In my opinion, we need to control and develop this machine for contribute to the society life being better day by day.
