Some people think that schools should involve students in school management Do you agree or disagree with this idea

Due to the importance of discovering management talents at an early age, many experts have suggested allowing students to participate in the decision-making process at school, and despite the objection of some due to academic concerns, I fully support this argument.

It is a well-known fact that children nowadays have little free time at school with most of their day dedicated to academic subjects, and every minute of their free time must be invested correctly. In that regard, including students in their academic institution's decision-making process will not only occupy their free time fully but may also affect the time dedicated to their studies if not monitored carefully.

On the other hand, allowing pupils to partake in their school's management will open new opportunities for them to discover their entrepreneurial spirit and any potential talent for management, and this will be a significant boost to their subsequent professional life, as many careers nowadays will require a degree of leadership skills in the higher positions of the corporate ladder, and honing these skills at an early age will allow the schoolgoers to have a headstart in their careers as they graduate.

Not only is including the future generation in the management process important for their leadership skills, but it is also crucial to develop a plethora of the imperative abilities not usually taught at a typical school, such as problem-solving, teamwork and professional communication. Partaking in school administration will expose the participants to a myriad of situations and challenges that will test and strengthen those skills as they resolve the various problems with the help of the different professionals that would be on hand.

To summarise, what the schoolgoers may lose in time for academic studies by participating in school management is more than made up for by the soft skills they gain and the entrepreneurial spirit they nurture through this process.
