You have seen an advertisement for an evening course to study a foreign language. Write a letter to the institution offering the course. In your letter ask for details of the course, ask if the course teachers are qualified native speakers, request that the institute sends you their brochure.
Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to inquire about the French language course as advertised by your institute in the daily mail.
To elucidate I am keen to join this course as I work for a company which is operating in African countries where customers speak French dialect, therefore, learning this language will make business transactions much easier. Hence I would need a detailed overview of the course for instance course content, fee structure and course length as the advert published in the newspaper was brief. Additionally, I would like to know if the course teachers are native French speaker as I have seen many institutes who employ native French tutors since the native speakers have better linguistic command over the language. Although I have attended short courses on the French language from In-lingua in the past however I am more interested to learn the language in-depth as this will help me in my professional endeavour.
Lastly, I request you to send me a detailed brochure with the details about the course and the advantages of attending French classes from your institute.
Looking forward to your response
Yours sincerely
Saud
