The given is the bar chart comparing the proportions of two types of accommodation in two specific countries which are England and Wales from 1918 to 2011.
Overall, it is evident that a pattern of household in owned accommodation steadily increased. In contrast, an inverse correlation was observed in households renting accommodation.
Between 1918 and 1971, generally, the difference between the two households slightly decreased. In 1918, the highest and the lowest percentage for rented and owned accommodation was at around 76% which hit to approximately 68% in 1939 and about 22% which reached to just below 30%. After 1918, only for 14 years these percentages unchanged. In 1971, these movements of patterns faced with each other at 50%.
Until 2011, tendencies of each household continued to keep growing and falling. Difference between the percentage of both accommodations boosted to 2001. As a result, in 2001, the proportions of households owning and renting accommodation had become just under 70% and about 31% respectively and returned to 65% and almost 35% respectively in 2011.
