The maps elucidate the alterations of a particular area between 1965 and present day. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred for the existence of new road bridge which connects the east and the west part of the town.
To begin with the facility of the town, there were three new car parks which were constructed beside the river, in between house and apartment, and beside the new railway line. To the east side of the town, 1965 to present day witnessed the increasing number of new houses where it had been developed together with new apartments beside the Ashford houses and new Tatch marina in between the river and car park.
In accordance with the other changes, the new foot bridge was built in the south part of the town where it run alongside with new road bridge. Thus, the east and the west side of the area had been connected due to the presence of these two amenities.
